Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No names, emails or phone numbers are required. The tool only needs your gender, age, health level, tobacco use, how much coverage, and how many years. That's enough to pull current quotes. Personal details are only asked for if you decide to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

What you see are the rates each carrier quoted for the health bracket you selected. The carrier's underwriting review sets your actual premium after they check your application—they might confirm, improve or shift your health class. These are quotes for comparison, not insurance offers or price locks.

What happens when I click Apply?

Your name gets entered, and your application is launched from the exact quote you picked. Then you're on the carriers' private application system. You can step away and come back, and you'll sign electronically. A licensed California insurance agency handles the whole process.

Will I need a medical exam?

That depends on the carrier you choose, your coverage amount and your health answers. Some carriers use fast-track review and decide immediately for people who qualify; every quote shows whether an exam is required, likely, or won't be needed.

Is a longer term better?

Choose a term based on what your family actually needs covered: a mortgage maturity date, when your youngest finishes school, or when you'd be debt-free. The longer the term, the higher your monthly rate, but your price stays locked in. The quote tool shows 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-year options all at once.

Does this site sell my information?

We don't pass your data to anyone else to sell. The quote tool doesn't store your contact details, we don't exchange visitor information with third parties, and our analytics don't use tracking cookies. The privacy details spell out exactly what's tracked and who sees it.
